Una canción, dos versiones Vol. 3 (One Song, Two Versions Vol 3)

Hoy quiero aprovechar la oportunidad para compartir nuevamente otra canción que me gusta mucho y de la que hay dos versiones que son las que me gustan más. El gran compositor mexicano Álvaro Carrillo tuvo una inspiración genial y nos regaló la canción “Se te olvida”, también conocida como “La Mentira”.

Today I would like to take this opportunity to again share another song that I love and there are two versions of it that are what I like most. The great Mexican composer Alvaro Carrillo had a brilliant inspiration and gave us the song "Se te olvida (You forget)," also known as "La mentira (The Lie)".

La primera versión que va a disfrutar y mi absoluta favorita de todas las versiones que hay de esta canción, viene de la magistral voz de Javier Solis, el más grande –a mi juicio- cantante mexicano.

The first version that you will enjoy and my absolute favorite of all versions of this song, comes from the magisterial voice of Javier Solis, the best -in my opinion- Mexican singer.

La segunda versión, y la número 2 en mi ranking personal, corresponde a un arreglo realizado por el Trío Los Panchos, acompañados de la gran cantante italiana Gigliola Cinquetti.

The second version, and the number 2 in my persona ranking, corresponds to an arrangement made by the Trio Los Panchos, accompanied by the great Italian singer Gigliola Cinquetti.
