Boicot Beijing 2008 (Boycott Beijing 2008)

China ya me tiene harto. El ingenuo en mi alguna vez creyó que una vez que Beijing obtuviera la sede de los Juegos Olímpicos de 2008, ellos iban a hacer todo lo posible por mejorar su imagen ante el mundo, y no me refiero solo a la infraestructura deportiva, a la limpieza de sus ciudades, y al mejoramiento de su infraestructura hotelera. NO.

China got me sick. The naive in me time ago thought that once Beijing gets the Olympic Games of 2008, they would do everything possible to improve its image before the world, and I am not referring only to the sports infrastructure, cleaning their cities, and improving its hotel facilities. NO.


El ingenuo que habita en mí creyó sinceramente que China iba a mejorar su imagen ya por ese entonces bastante manchada por las atrocidades y violaciones a los derechos humanos más elementales. Lastimosamente no fue así, al contrario, han utilizado los juegos como la excusa perfecta para tratar de acallar cualquier voz disidente, apretando la seguridad sobre cualquiera que usando el internet se atreva a disentir con el régimen comunista imperante. China se ha vuelto aún más despiadada, precisamente con el pretexto de “salvaguardar la seguridad de las Olimpiadas”.

The naive who dwells in me sincerely believed that China would improve its image already tarnished by then, by the atrocities and violations of the most basic human rights. El gobierno comunista chino se ha dado además a la tarea de perseguir a los cristianos de diversas denominaciones, lucra con los órganos de todos aquellos a los que ejecuta con o sin razón, y lo más flagrante de todo es que ha buscado incansablemente desde hace más de medio siglo, sojuzgar al pueblo tibetano, que a diferencia del régimen secular chino, tiene (y digo tiene aunque a los chinos rojos, les salgan ronchas) un gobierno teocrático firmemente establecido. En ese intento han llegado a ridículos de prohibir la imagen (sagrada para los tibetanos) del Dalai Lama, ganador del premio Nobel de la paz, a quien irónicamente acusan de promover todo el barullo que se ha generado en contra de las Olimpiadas, y en particular de empañar el paso de la antorcha olímpica en varias ciudades del mundo.

En este punto algún purista puede que me salga, con que no se deben mezclar cosas diferentes, en este caso, política con deporte, pero quiérase o no, y según mi particular punto de vista, esto no puede ser así, no se pueden cerrar los ojos, y pretender que China nos muestre solo la cara que quiere que veamos, mientras por detrás, procede como realmente le viene en gana, y logrando hasta el momento que nadie en el mundo le plante con firmeza y de una vez por todas las múltiples violaciones a los derechos humanos de todos sus ciudadanos, por lo mismo, actúa con más brutalidad incluso contra el pueblo tibetano, que se rehúsa firmemente a ser anexado por este imperio ateo.

Hace algún tiempo atrás me reí cuando “Las aventuras de Tin Tín”, famosa historieta de aventuras creada y escrita por el artista belga Hergé, se iban a publicar en Chino, y había un libro en particular titulado “Tin Tín en el Tibet”, del cual los chinos protestaron y dijeron que el libro debía llamarse “Tin Tín en el tibet Chino”. Resulta claramente patético como los chinos incluso quieren reescribir la historia así como retitular obras, cosa que no les concierne modificar en absoluto. Sin embargo los intentos reales de sofocar y acallar la voz libre del pueblo tibetano, hacen que estos procedan con un genocidio en toda regla, forzando a grandes números de ellos hacia el exilio, y aniquilando sistemáticamente a toda oposición que encuentren al interior de Tibet.

Some time ago I laughed back when "The Adventures of Tin Tin", famous comic adventure created and written by the Belgian artist Hergé, were to be published in Chinese, and there was a particular book entitled "Tin Tin in Tibet ", Which the Chinese protested and said that the book should be called" Tin Tin in Chinese Tibet". All this must stop, and it will not until we make understand the communist regime that is not acting in a civilized manner. It's time to say, that we give a damn about their achievements and Olympics, if they not learn to respect the human rights of all the people including those who disagree with them, or those who claim to be free again, or those who dare to believe in something more than the vulgar and simple matter. The Big Bang Theory

Leonard “Lenny” (Johnny Galecki) y Sheldon (Jim Parsons) son dos físicos que comparten un departamento, y de pronto ven su vida y hábitos de nerds alterados por la presencia de la nueva vecina, la rubia de la siguiente puerta llamada Penny (Kaley Cuoco). “The Big Bang Theory” es producida y creada por Chuck Lorre (Two And A Half Men) y Bill Prady (Gilmore Girls), es una comedia de situación de media hora de duración, y una que recomiendo encarecidamente, sucede que comedias he visto un montón, y de veras que he querido encontrar algo que me haga reír tanto o más como lo había hecho la mítica serie de los 90's, "Seinfeld", y con seguridad puedo afirmar que por fin la he encontrado.

Leonard, es el que quiere salir del estrecho círculo de amigos, que aparte de su compañero Sheldon, incluyen a otros dos nerds como ellos, Howard (Simon Helberg) y Rajnesh “Raj” (Kunal Nayyar). Howard es judío y aparte de ser físico, es también un experto en idiomas (al menos en decir desconcertantes piropos y frases amorosas en lenguajes exóticos) y Raj, quien es un genio matemático, pero que ante la presencia de cualquier muchacha medianamente hermosa entra en corto circuito y se encierra en su concha.

Penny siendo el centro de atención, es retratada como una muchacha normal, sin caer en el fácil estereotipo de la rubia tonta, y que incluso en algunas ocasiones se las arregla para hacer quedar mal a algunos de los nerds. Obviamente ella pone unas caras de antología cuando la conversación o explicaciones de ellos (especialmente las de Sheldon), la dejan patinando sólo con las primeras palabras. Como decía antes, comedias he visto muchas, pero uno queda agradecido de poder presenciar algo raras veces visto, una en la cual también nuestro cerebro y lógica están totalmente bienvenidos. Es de agradecer también que la veo en el cable y puedo disfrutar del subtitulado original en inglés, lo que me ayuda a no perderme nada en la a veces deficiente traducción que le hacen, pero ese es un detalle menor. Lo único que espero es que la misma nos acompañe por muchísimo tiempo más y no la cancelen antes de tiempo.

Penny being the center of attention, is portrayed as a normal girl, without falling into the easy stereotype of the dumb blond, and even sometimes she still manages to embarrass some of the nerds. Obviously she puts some anthology faces when the conversation or explanations of them (especially those of Sheldon), lefts she mumbling only the first words. As I've said before, I have seen many comedies, but with this one, I'm grateful to be able to witness something rarely seen, one in which our brains and logic are totally welcome. It is also appreciated that I see on the TV cable and I can enjoy the original subtitled in English, which helps me not to miss anything in the sometimes poor translation they do, but that's a minor detail. The only thing I hope is that the sit-com accompany us for a lot longer and that they do not cancel it early.

Recordando a Laika (Remembering Laika)

Una perrita callejera fue capturada y así de la noche a la mañana fue sacada de su anonimato a la fama mundial, aunque desafortunadamente a costa de su vida.

Laika, nombre que se quedó con ella de varios que le pusieron, fue sometida a intensas pruebas se le inmovilizó con un arnés especial y se la metió en la cápsula del Sputnik 2. La lanzaron al espacio y convenientemente los rusos omitieron decir un pequeño importante detalle, que el viaje era solo de ida. Probablemente se abstuvieron de decirlo, debido a las grandes voces de protesta a nivel mundial sobre el asunto.

La perrita fue una de las mártires en la carrera espacial incentivada a su vez por la Guerra Fría entre las dos potencias de entonces. Sólo tiempo después se sabría por parte de los mismos rusos, que Laika a pesar de haber sobrevivido al despegue, y las intensas fuerzas gravitacionales, había fallecido pocas horas después de estar en órbita, muy probablemente debido a una falla en la cápsula y al stress que tuvo que soportar el animal.

Cuando era yo niño en Oruro, siempre me preguntaba a mi mismo acerca de cómo era posible que casi todo el mundo tuviera un bicho que se llamara así. Hasta recuerdo haber pensado, cuando conocí por primera vez acerca de la historia de la perra cosmonauta, del modo en que el nombrecito "boliviano" les había llegado a ellos. Luego aprendí que fue al revés, y casi puedo asegurar que casi todos los que han vivido en Bolivia en los 60's y 70's han conocido alguna vez a algún can que llevara ese nombre tan conocido.

Hoy que se cumplen 50 años de la reentrada en atmósfera del Sputnik, cremando definitivamente los restos de Laika, quiero invitarlos a oír el homenaje que el grupo español Mecano le hiciera, con el tema que simplemente se llama Laika

A stray dog was captured and thus overnight was removed from anonymity to world fame, but unfortunately at the expense of her life.

Laika, a name that stayed with her from several, was subjected to intensive tests, was immobilized with a special harness and they put her into the capsule of Sputnik 2. Only many time after we would know by the same Russians, that Laika despite having survived takeoff, and the intense gravitational forces, had died a few hours after being in orbit, most likely due to a failure in the capsule and the stress that the animal had to endure.

When I was a child in Oruro, always asked myself how it was possible that almost everyone happens to have a pet that is called so. Even I remember thinking, when I knew for the first time about the history of the cosmonaut dog, how the well known "Bolivian" name had come to them. Then I learned that it was the other way around, and almost can assure you that almost everyone who has lived in Bolivia in the 60's and 70's have ever known to some canine carrying that so well known name.

Today that marks 50 years since the re-entry into atmosphere of Sputnik, definitely turning into ashes the remains of Laika, I would like to invite you to hear the tribute of the Spanish group Mecano with a song simply called Laika

Adiós Sr. Heston (Goodbye Mr. Heston)

El pasado sábado ha fallecido Charlton Heston, el actor que nos diera interpretaciones legendarias en varias películas de entre las cuales permanecen con más fidelidad en mi retina, The Ten Commandments, The Planet of The Apes (el original, no el chasco de Burton), la multipremiada Ben Hur y la apasionante historia de ciencia ficción Soylent Green.

Heston fue un un hombre controvertido, él apoyó en su momento al movimiento por los derechos civiles de Martin Luther King, pero más tarde en su vida se unió al ala más conservadora y radical del partido republicano. También llego a encabezar la ANR, Asociación Nacional del Rifle, y de ahí viene uno de sus dichos más famosos, en el que expresó que el gobierno -a través de regulaciones de armas- le quitarían las suyas "de sus muertas y heladas manos".

Yo voy a extrañar al actor y no al políitico. ¡Paz en la tumba de Mr Heston!

Last Saturday has passed away Charlton Heston, the actor who gave us legendary interpretations in several films including those who are staying with more fidelity in my mind, The Ten Commandments, The Planet of The Apes (the original, not the flop of Burton) the multi awarded Ben Hur and he fascinating story of science fiction Soylent Green.

Heston was a controversial man, at one time he supported the civil rights movement of Martin Luther King, but later in life he joined the more conservative and radical wing of the Republican Party. It came to head the NRA, National Rifle Association, and from there comes one of its most famous sayings, in which he stated that the government -through weapon regulations- would remove theirs "from my dead, cold hands".

I am going to miss the actor and not the politician. Peace in the tomb of Mr. Heston!

The Strongest 1908 - 2008

Ya han transcurrido cien años desde aquel abril de 1908 en que un grupo de jóvenes fundaran un club que ahora si y con toda justicia puede ser llamado el decano del fútbol boliviano. Bastante ya han escrito otros sobre todo lo que ha significado este club en la historia deportiva de La Paz y de Bolivia.

Sin embargo, yo quiero contar que hasta la edad de los seis o siete años era del –ejem- Bolívar, más por inercia, porque la mayoría de la gente en mi casa era de ese club, pero de mis 14 años en adelante me fui decantando por los colores oro y negro, que tanta pasión le inspiraran a mi padre. Y es así que desde entonces me he vuelto un hincha acérrimo del mismo.

El Tigre es una pasión que desde entonces me ha inspirado, y no importa las veces que hemos perdido, siempre he esperado por el siguiente partido, y he sentido lo que es caminar con prisa hacia el estadio para poder ver una vez más a mi equipo, y admirar como lo he venido haciendo a jugadores de la talla de Eliseo Ayaviri, Eligio Martínez, Luis Galarza, Jorge Lattini, Ovidio Meza, Tito Montaño, Sandro Coelho, Alex da Rosa, Eduardo Villegas, Luis Iriondo, Ramiro Castillo, Gustavo Domingo Quinteros, el maestro Sergio Luna, Julián Giménez, Germán Panichelli, Víctor Aragón, Carlos Arias, Oscar Carmelo Sánchez, Johnny Villarroel, el gran capitán y mi jugador favorito de todos los tiempos Ricardo “Tano” Fontana, y tantos otros, de quienes la memoria –que es la ingrata, no el corazón- ya se ha empezado a diluir.

A todos ellos, a todos los que vistiendo la gloriosa aurinegra la han sentido como parte de su identidad, a quienes la han defendido con sangre, sudor y lágrimas, así como a los dirigentes que han estado comprometidos con el servicio al club, y por sobre todo al ilustre y venerado Rafael Mendoza Castellón, quien hizo renacer al equipo después de la tragedia de Viloco que se llevara al primer plantel en un aciago día de 1969, a todos ellos repito, les brindo mi admiración, porque han trabajado por la permanencia y la gloria de una de las instituciones deportivas más destacadas de Bolivia. Si bien lo mío no fue amor a primera vista, ahora sí puedo decir que moriré siendo del aguerrido The Strongest.

Hundred years have now passed since that April of 1908 in which a group of young men founded a club, that now and in all fairness can be called the dean of the Bolivian soccer. Enough others have written about everything that has meant this sport club in the history of La Paz and Bolivia.

And so since then I have become a rabid fan of tose colors.

The “Tigre” is a passion that has inspired me since then, and no matter how many times we have lost, I have always waited for the next game, and I felt what it is to walk in a hurry to the stadium to watch again on my team , and admire to players of the stature of Eliseo Ayaviri, Eligio Martinez, Luis Galarza, Jorge Lattini, Ovidio Meza, Tito Montaño, Sandro Coelho, Alex da Rosa, Eduardo Villegas, Luis Iriondo, Ramiro Castillo, Gustavo Domingo Quinteros, the master Sergio Luna, Julián Gimenez, Germán Panichelli, Victor Aragón, Carlos Arias, Oscar Carmelo Sánchez, Johnny Villarroel, the great captain and my favorite player of all time Ricardo "Tano" Fontana, and many others, of whom memory -which is the thankless, not the heart- has already begun to dilute.

To all of them, to all those wearing the glorious yellow and black have felt it as part of their identity, those who have defended with blood, sweat and tears, and the leaders who have been committed to the service club, and especially the illustrious and revered Rafael Mendoza Castellón, who made the team reborn after the tragedy of Viloco take away the main team in a fateful day of 1969, to all of them again, I extend my admiration to them, because they have worked for the permanence and the glory of one of the sporting highlights of Bolivia. "Bella Notte"

Andaba yo por mis 11 u 12 años, y estaba desesperado porque el cine Palais Concert de Oruro tenía en cartelera la película de Walt Disney, “La Dama y el Vagabundo”, al parecer, por última vez. Era un hecho por ese entonces que si una película se iba, iba a ser muy difícil volverla a ver, a no ser que fuera una de esas épicas bíblicas que casi cada Semana Santa se reponían en las carteleras de los cines de entonces, casi por obligación.

Por mucho que me empeñe en recordar, no se cómo, pero de alguna forma tenía el dinero suficiente para pagar la entrada a la función, sólo que habían dos pequeños detalles, ya eran las 8 de la noche y la película en cuestión iba después de otra que trataba de cómo la selección brasileña había conquistado la Copa Mundial de México en 1970.

Como todo niño que empuja los límites ya anticipaba yo que si entraba al cine, iban a haber consecuencias nada agradables para mí, pero entre eso y el hecho más cercano de estar a las puertas del cine con la promesa -casi- inmediata de disfrutar de una película, que por alguna extraña razón no había podido ver antes, pudo más lo último. Ah! Por ese entonces nosotros -mis hermanos y yo- teníamos casi asegurada la asistencia a la función matinal de cada domingo, y si eso no sucedía, era porque toda la familia iba a ver algún estreno. De tal modo que no entendíamos del todo como otros niños, no fueran tan a menudo al mismo como nosotros, y a veces hablaban del asunto del mismo modo en que tal vez nosotros hubiéramos descrito un viaje a China o algo tan inusual como eso.

El cine Palais Concert era -¿es?- una sala preciosa, algo parecida al Teatro Municipal de La Paz, solo que de un tamaño un poco más chico, y cuenta con unos preciosos murales en sus paredes. Una cosa curiosa, era que la platea con butacas, eran los asientos más caros, y la parte de arriba que los cines de Oruro de ese entonces denominaban Galería, eran los asientos más baratos, porque sólo eran unas gradas de madera, sin respaldos para la espalda. Todo esto al contrario de los cines de La Paz en los que la platea eran los asientos más baratos y la parte de arriba que se denominaba Mezzanine, eran los asientos más caros.

Una vez adentro las luces se apagaron, y comenzó a dar la primera película, y yo por ese entonces no sabía de lo que me perdía, así que no andaba para nada interesado en las evoluciones maravillosas de Pelé, Tostão, Carlos Alberto, Jairzinho, Gerson y otros. Me parecía que cada partido que reseñaban sobre las andanzas de esa famosa escuadra verde-amarelha, duraban incluso más que los 45 minutos que duraron realmente cada uno de esos encuentros. Finalmente Brasil se impuso en el partido final por 4-1 sobre la selección italiana. Y por fin, luego de un pequeño intervalo, comenzó la película que tanto quería ver, y de la que había oído por radio, la versión narrada incontables veces.

¿Es necesario añadir que por ese intervalo de tiempo me sentí como si estuviera en otra dimensión? Bueno, si siempre me han gustado las películas, por ese entonces las de animación eran lo máximo para mí. Es un gusto adquirido y que hasta ahora no me ha abandonado, para pesar de gente que me conoce bastante bien y que opina que ya debería haber quemado esa etapa.

Lo malo vino después de que acabó la función, las luces se encendieron y las más o menos 3 docenas de personas que estaban en el cine, se dispersaron por todos lados ni bien salieron a la plaza 10 de Febrero. De ese modo yo me quedé parado ahí por unos segundos y recién entonces me di cuenta de lo que había hecho. Por ese entonces en Oruro, cerca a la medianoche no había transporte público de ninguna clase, y aún si hubieran circulado taxis, ya no tenía dinero para costearlos, así que lo único que había que hacer era empezar a recorrer el largo camino a casa. La distancia cubría desde la plaza 10 de Febrero hasta los barrios mineros de la Zona Norte de Oruro, que es donde vivía en ese entonces (para los que conocen La Paz, la distancia sería más o menos como ir desde la Plaza Isabel La Católica hasta la Cervecería en la Av. Montes).

No se en realidad cuánto tardé, en hacer el recorrido, solo sé que andaba muerto de miedo, porque a cada paso que daba, me daba cuenta de que en las calles no había nadie, y las luces de las casas estaban todas apagadas, así que el único ruido que oía era el que hacía al caminar. Y ya llegando a mi vecindario empecé a recordar otro pequeño detalle que se iba a interponer entre mi casa y yo. Muchos vecinos, dejaban sueltos a sus perros por la noche, de modo que fueran un disuasivo para los ocasionales ladrones que pudieran acechar sus casas.

A tres cuadras de llegar a mi casa me sale al paso un perro, que no me daba cuartel, el condenado por suerte, nunca quiso perseguirme hasta donde yo estaba, solo se aseguraba de no dejarme pasar por la calle cada vez que me acercaba, y me tuvo ahí por un buen tiempo. Ya pasada la medianoche, yo a tres cuadras de mi casa, y el perro que no me dejaba pasar. Ni pensar en ir por otro lado, ya que de seguro habían perros mucho más malos que éste.

Me imagino que en mi casa, -conociendo como la conozco a mi madre-, que ha debido insistir tanto a mi padre, que él tuvo que salir. (Supongo que iba a ir a los hospitales, o a la morgue, o a preguntar a conocidos suyos si no tenían noticias mías.) Para su fortuna bajando por la calle alcanzó a verme, hizo corretear al perro con lo cual pude reunirme con el, y así llegué por fin a casa. Ahora bien, se que recibí una de las chicoteadas de aquellas que deberías recordar toda la vida, pero cosa extraña tampoco consigo recordar los detalles de la misma ni cuánto me dolió, o si me cortaron algunos otros privilegios al día siguiente. Ya el susto mayor que fue el de caminar solo por medio Oruro, y el hecho de no poder llegar a mi casa habían pasado, y además me quedaba la satisfacción de haberme salido con la mía. Solo que ahora lo pienso y digo que si hubiera sabido entonces que iba a haber un tiempo en el que podía tener la película que quisiese, en un pequeño disco de plástico, para poderla ver las veces que quisiera, bien me hubiera ahorrado esa experiencia.

I was around 11 or 12 years old, and I was desperate because the movie theater Palais Concert at Oruro was exhibiting the Walt Disney movie, "The Lady and the Tramp", apparently for the last time. It was a fact at the time that if a film was going out, it would be very difficult to see it again, unless it was one of those biblical epics that returned every Easter on the most of theaters then, almost as an obligation.

As much as I strive to remember, I do not know how, but somehow I had enough money to pay the entrance to the function, which left only two small details in front of me, it was already 8 pm and the film in question went after another dealing with how the Brazilian team had won the World Cup in Mexico 1970.

Like any child who pushes the limits, I already anticipated that if I entered to the theater, there would be consequences anything but nice for me, but between that and the fact of being closest to the door with the promise of enjoying a film, which for some strange reason had not been seen before, the last won. Ah! By then we -my brothers and I- had almost assured assistance to the movies of every Sunday morning, or if that's not happened, it was because the whole family went to see a premiere. So that is not entirely understood for me when other children, were not habituals as us, and sometimes they spoke of the matter in the same way that perhaps we should have described a trip to China or something so unusual as that.

The theater Palais Concert had –has?- a beautiful room, something similar to the Municipal Theater in La Paz, only in a slightly smaller size, and has some beautiful murals on the walls. One curious thing was that the lower part audience seats (platea), were more expensive, and that the top seats of Oruro theaters then called Gallery, these seats were cheaper, because there were only a few stands of timber, without backs. All this in contrast to the cinemas of La Paz where the lower audience seats (platea), were cheaper and that the top (upper) seats were called Mezzanine, were the most expensive.

Once inside the lights were turned off, and began with the first movie, and by that time I did not know what I lost, so I’ve lost any interest in the wonderful developments of Pelé, Tostão, Carlos Alberto, Jairzinho, Gerson and others. It seemed that each party outlined on the wanderings of that famous green-amarelha squad, even lasted longer than 45 minutes that lasted really each of those meetings. Finally Brazil won in the final match by 4-1 over Italy. And finally, after a short interval, the film that I wanted to see began, whose narrated version I’ve heard on the radio countless times.

Is it necessary to add that by that time I felt like going to another dimension? Well, if I always liked the movies, then the animated ones were for me the most. It is an acquired taste, and so far I haven’t left, although people who know me quite well, believed that I should have burned that stage.

The trouble came after the end of the function, the lights were lit and plus or minus 3 dozens of people who were in the movie, dispersed everywhere as soon as they came to the 10 de Febrero square. Thus I stayed standing there for a few seconds and then I just realized what I had done, then in Oruro, close to midnight there was no public transport whatsoever, and even if they had been taxis, no longer have the money to pay, so the only thing I had to do was begin to walk the long way home. The distance covered from the 10 de Febrero square to the miner neighborhoods of the Northern Zone of Oruro, which is where I lived at that time (for those who know La Paz, the distance would be more or less like going from Isabel la Católica square until the Brewery (CBN) at Montes Av.

I don’t really know how much took me in making the trip, only thing I know is that I was scared to death, because with each step I realized that on the streets there was nobody, and the lights of the houses were all off, and the only noise I heard was the one I was making while walking. And now near at my neighborhood I began to recall another small detail that would arise between my home and myself. Many neighbors, let loose their dogs at night, so they were a deterrent to casual thieves who might stalk their homes.

Three blocks lasting to reach my house, I met a dog, that gave me no space, condemning me to the fate, he never tried to go after me while I was at far, he just made sure not to let me pass on the street every time I approached, and I was there for quite a while. Already after midnight. I was staying three blocks away from my house, and the dog refusing to yield pass. You can’t think about going by other side, since I could have met meanier dogs than this.

I imagine that in my house, knowing as I know to my mother, she surely was pushing to my father, and he had to leave. (I suppose that he was to go to hospitals or the morgue, or ask if I have been seen by his known friends and relatives.) To my fortune he reached down the street and see me, he put the dog on the run, with which I was able to meet him, and so finally arrive at home. The big shock of walking alone through half of the Oruro city, and the fact of not being able to reach my house had passed, and I was also pleased to have done what I liked so much. Only now that I think about it and say that if I had known then that there was going to be a time when any film that I could have wished, would come in a small plastic disk, to be able to watch it countless times, well then I would have spared me the whole experience.
